Cajun Pawn Stars is an American reality television series on the History channel, produced by Leftfield Pictures. The series is slated to debut January 8, 2012 at 10PM ET.[1][2][3][4]
The show is the second spin-off of Pawn Stars, but unlike its first spinoff, American Restoration, Cajun Pawn Stars is entirely unrelated to the venue and crew of Pawn Stars -- the series revolves around another family-owned pawn shop, the Silver Dollar Pawn & Jewelry Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, which is owned by Jimmie DeRamus, who runs the store along with his wife, Peggy, and their children, Johnnie and Tammie.[3] Assisting the DeRamuses are employees Tina Journet and Walt Piper; and the pawn shop's gun expert, Gary Ermatinger.[3]
As with Pawn Stars, Cajun Pawn Stars focuses on the pawnings and sellings of a vast array of items at the Silver Dollar, one of the South's largest pawn shops, which claim to have over 100,000 items in a 20,000 square foot showroom.[3]
Tammie DeRamus-Credeur is the Daughter of Jimmie and Peggy DeRamus. Johnnie is Jimmie DeRamus's younger brother. Tammie and Johnnie are not brother and sister.
