CR-5000

CR-5000 is the flagship PCB design family from Zuken. It offers advanced functionality for the layout of multi-layer and high-speed printed circuit boards with integrated Signal Integrity and EMC analysis and optimization.[1] CR-5000 seamlessly integrates all the tools and technologies needed for complete electronics development in a single environment: system design and analysis, constraints management, FPGA and PCB co-design, PCB layout and verification and production preparation. The object-oriented, database-driven software architecture is used by leading companies to create some of the world’s most complex PCB designs.

CR-5000 is the fourth generation successor of CREATE1000 that was originally developed for PDP-11 by Zukei-Gijutsu-Kenkyusho (Japanese for "Graphic Technology and Research Laboratory"). The main CR-5000 software is developed at Zuken Inc. headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. Other modules are developed in Zuken's EMC Technology Center in Paderborn , Germany which is renowned for its research in EMC and SI simulation tools, and Zuken Technology Center in Bristol, England which focuses on routing tools. The latest version as of January 2010 is CR-5000 version 13.
