Children Of South Africa (CHOSA) is a non-profit charity that locates and supports community based organizations (CBOs) in South Africa which aid children.
As of 2006 the charity has identified three organizations, Baphumelele Children’s Home in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Emasithandane Children's Project in Nyanga, Cape Town, and Ubuhle Babantwana in Mfuleni, Cape Town.
CHOSA has also started a house-building program for vulnerable families called the Philani Family Fund, helped start the Desiree Ellis Soccer League and runs a volunteer and mentoring program for the children of Emasithandane and Baphumelele Children's Homes.
CHOSA is a member of the Coalition for a Sustainable Africa, a consortium of organizations advancing locally-led holistic solutions in Africa. Its partners include Soccer without Borders, the Desmond Tutu TB Centre (DTTC), and People's Environmental Planning (PEP).
