Bzhedug

In Russia, the Bzhedug are one of the twelve tribal divisions of the Adyghe. In the 19th century they were considered to be a distinct ethnic group. Many of them emigrated to Turkey in the 1860s, but there was still a community of Bzedug on the left bank of the Kuban River (in the vicinity of Krasnodar) in the 1980s.[1]
