Business Man (Telugu: బిజినెస్ మాన్, Marathi: बुसिनेस्स मन , Hindi: बिज़नस मन, Malayalam: ബിസ്നസ് മേന്, Tamil: பிஸ்னஸ் மேன், Kannada: ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಮ್ಯಾನ್, Bengali: বুসিনেস মান , Punjabi: ਬੁਸਿਨੇੱਸ ਮਨ, Gujarati: બુસીનેસ્સ મન ) is an upcoming Telugu action film co-written and directed by Puri Jagannadh,[1] produced by R.R. Venkat and starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal.[2] The film is both produced and distributed by RR Movie Makers. The overseas rights for the film weer sold for 5.4 crore (US$19 million), making it the highest buyover for any Telugu film in the overseas.[3]
The film generated a great deal of publicity for itself before release mainly due to Puri Jagannadh and Mahesh Babu combo which delivered the 2006 blockbuster hit Pokiri. And also one other reason the movie did extraordinary pre-release business is that of Mahesh Babu's previous release Dookudu which was a record breaking hit both in India and the overseas. The film was dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam languages.[4][5]
Business Man will be released globally on 13 January 2012 with premier shows in USA on 12 January 2012. The movie will be released in UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, Paris, Japan, Dubai, Singapore and South Africa as well through Hari Venkateshwara Pictures and RR Movie Makers.[6] The movie is expected to screen in nearly 120 theaters in USA itself.[7]

The Muhurat shot was pictured in August 2011 and the regular shooting commenced on 2 September 2011 at Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad.[11][12] The second schedule began in Mumbai on September 18, where Mahesh Babu joined the crew.[13] Filming was held for 74 days and completed on 10 December 2011.[14]
Dubbing works were done in Shabdalaya Studios.[15] It was revealed by Puri Jagganadh that the film would be dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam languages and that they will be released 26th January 2012.[16] The first look and teaser trailer of the film were released on 11 November.
The release date was fixed as January 12, 2011 even before filming started. Later the date was brought forward by one day eventually. Finally it was postponed to 13th January. [17] Business Man would be the first direct release in Paris and Japan along with other overseas countries including USA, Canada, UK, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, South Africa and more.[18] The film would also become the first Telugu film to be released overseas with English subtitles.[19] The overseas rights were bagged by Hari Venkateshwara Pictures while RR Movie makers retained the domestical distribution rights.[20]
