Synopsis

It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival colleges; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion, TRIO lost this year... and it was all because of one girl named Yi Sheng Xue. Now, this game has a new purpose.

TRIO is a famed group in the East Sun college known for their handsome, well-rounded and rich boys who also have talent in the game of basketball: Zhou Bi Shou, Xu Zhe Kai, and the leader, Shen Ruo He. All three are gorgeous and proud, and been there for each other since they were little. Confident, they know that they will win against the other college, and score the spot to place their team flag on.

Yi Sheng Xue (Hebe Tien) is a stubborn but naive daughter of a former triad leader, Wu Ye. She went to a temple to wish TRIO good luck during the infamous 13th street basketball game. As a young girl, she had been chased by hostile gang members, and had run frantically to the basketball court in desperation to avoid conflict. Coincidentally the very first 13th street basketball game was taking place. The members, seeing a young girl being persecuted, helped drive the gang members away, leading Sheng Xue into safety. Sheng Xue now takes the game seriously and watches it every year, cheering on the East Sun college.

This year, TRIO, representing East Sun, lost. Shen Ruo He (Mike He) had almost hit Sheng Xue with his car earlier-causing mayhem amongst Sheng Xue's many bodyguards, especially Jin Zi Cong (Lee Wei). Secretly cutting a hole open in Ruo He's bag and poking a hole into his tire, Jin Zi Cong's bodyguard gang stole off, and an unaware Sheng Xue never knew about the two acts that her lifelong friends had done. After that, Sheng Xue chased after Ruo He, wanting him to feel the pain that she was feeling after losing to 9 years of famed wins during the 13th Street Basketball Tournament. She was in such disappointment that she transferred from her girl's college over to East Sun just to reprimand the cocky Ruo He, even though this act would defy her temperamental father.

However, Sheng Xue has no idea that Ruo He had to wear smaller shoes and run to the college-the aftereffects of the slit bag and cut tire. After some problems, such as Ruo He going to the doctor's office and being eavesdropped on by Sheng Xue, and Ruo He using TRIO's powers to harass Sheng Xue, Ruo He gets a call from his strict, businessman father. The call was actually an invitation to a date-a date that Ruo He never knew about. He storms off, angry, as Ruo He had been hurt in the past by his ex-girlfriend, whom left him for another man after she saw that Ruo He was obsessed with his father's work. Due to his rude demeanor as a retalition to his father's interfering of his love life, his father's construction company is at stake. The mother of the blind date is a great sponsor in his father's company, and demands the title deeds to 13th Street. As Ruo He's father's company is his flesh and blood, Ruo He promises to get the land title deeds of 13th street-which he soon learns is under Sheng Xue's name. Ruo He plans to have a fake relationship with Sheng Xue to score rights to the title deeds.

However, what will happen when Ruo He starts truly falling for Sheng Xue?
