Bugasong, Antique

Bugasong is a 4th class municipality in the province of Antique, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 28,294 people in 5,768 households.

The town is celebrating their annual town fiesta Bugas sa Lusong festival every 18th of January in honor of Senor Sto. Nino.

History

In 1957, the sitio of Ilaures was separated from the barrio of Camangahan and constituted into an independent barrio.[1]
