Bugarama is a town in western Rwanda.

Bugarama is located in Western Province, Rusizi District, close to the borders with Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its location is about 175 kilometres (109 mi), by road, southwest of Kigali, Rwanda's capital and largest city. [1] This location is approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi), by road, southeast of Cyangugu, where the district headquarters are located.[2] The coordinates of the town are:02 36 36S, 29 01 12E (Latitude:-2.6100; Longitude:29.0200).[3]
Bugarama is a small town tucked in the southwest corner of Rwanda. It lies close to the International borders with both Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It also lies close to both Nyungwe National Forest and to Oyamudongo National Forest, two of Rwanda's national forest reserves, where chimpanzees and other fowl and fauna thrive.
