Buddam (or Buddham) is a village in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. The name Buddam historically emerged from Bouddha Aramam (literally Buddhists Stayed Here In Ancient Times), the town's original name. Buddam's population is 1686. The archeological department located many relics of Buddhism in this village and a few of them are preserved in Amaravati and Hyderabad.
