Brosix (formerly known as Brosix Corporate Instant Messenger) is a secure instant messenger that is designed to help users[5] connect to each other.[6] It uses 256-bits AES encryption in order to encrypt messages, thus ensuring their security.[7][8] There are two editions of this product available: Brosix Personal is a freeware for personal use of individuals[9][10] while Brosix Business aims business and enterprises, allowing them to build their own private messaging networks.[11]
Brosix features text, voice and video chat, instant creation and transmission of screenshots[12], file transfer, whiteboarding and desktop sharing.[13][14]
Brosix took part in Best IM Client 2011 Award, Best IM Client 2010 Award and Best IM Client 2009 Award organized by About.com.
In 2011 Brosix won "Best Business IM"[15] and "Best IM Feature"[16] for Brosix Screen Sharing. Brosix is second in "Best IM Client for Mac"[17]
