Bromidrosiphobia

Bromidrosiphobia is a neurosis in which a person is convinced that his/her sweat has a repugnant odor that keeps other people away. The patient is unable to accept any evidence to the contrary. Three-quarters of patients with bromidrosiphobia are male, with an average age of 25. Pimozide may be beneficial. It may be an early symptom of schizophrenia.[1]:63
