Brian Avery (born July 13, 1940) is an actor and producer who has worked frequently on film and television.
He is known as an actor for the role of Carl Smith who marries Elaine Robinson (Katharine Ross) in the 1967 film The Graduate. He also appeared in the 1973 Woody Allen film Sleeper.
Avery has also worked as an executive producer. He is the father of the musician Eric Avery who is the former bass player with the rock band Jane's Addiction.[1]
