Early life

BravoSolution was founded in 2000 in Milan, Italy by a multinational group of investors. The company has subsequently established local offices in France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, the United States, Mexico, and China.

BravoSolution's is one of the largest vendors in the supply management marketplace.[1] BravoSolution is ranked at number 256 in Software Magazine’s 2008 ranking of the world’s largest software vendors.[2]

Acquisitions and competitors

Following BravoSolution's early organic growth, the business to expanded, with a series of strategic acquisitions in 2007–2008. In 2007, BravoSolution acquired Mobile Workers[3], a specialist spend analysis provider in France, which added spend analysis capabilities to BravoSolution's existing eSourcing, vendor management, and contract management offerings. In early 2008, the company acquired Verticalnet, an established supply management vendor in the United States. The Verticalnet acquisition allowed BravoSolution to expand its presence in the US and brought additional software capabilities into the organization[4].
