Brandon Funston

Brandon Funston is a Yahoo! Sports fantasy sports analyst and columnist, who pioneered fantasy sports coverage on television while working with ESPN[1]. Funston currently works as Yahoo's managing editor of fantasy sports.[2]

Biography

ESPN career

Funston started his career with Starwave and eventually moved to ESPN. While with ESPN he became the lead analyst, along with Eric Karabell, for all of ESPN's fantasy coverage. He was known as "the Gamer" while writing for ESPN The Magazine[3]. He also became the network's first on-air fantasy sports personality.[4]

Move to Yahoo! Sports

After spending eight years with ESPN, Funston took a job with Yahoo! Sports in 2004. Funston writes the "Big Board" feature for Yahoo! Sports where he ranks the top 50 fantasy players in the specified sport.
