Bow Valley College is a public college, with its main campus located in Downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The enabling legislation is the Post-secondary Learning Act [1] The branch campuses are: Airdrie, Banff, Blairmore, Brooks, Canmore, Cardston, Claresholm, Cochrane, Drumheller, Eden Valley, High River, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Morley, Pincher Creek, Red Deer, Three Hills and Stettler.

BVC offers certificates and diplomas in a variety of areas including health and business career training, adult upgrading and English as a Second Language.

History

It was founded as the Alberta Vocational Centre in 1965.

Scholarships

Bow Valley College joined Project Hero, a scholarship program cofounded by General (Ret'd) Rick Hillier for the families of fallen Canadian Forces members. [2]
