Boukary Dramé (born July 22, 1985 in Villepinte, Seine-Saint-Denis) is a French-born Senegalese footballer playing in Italy for A.C. ChievoVerona, as a left defender. He is a Senegal international.

He began playing football at CSL Aulnay-sous-Bois before joining the center of pre-training of PSG at Verneuil . He entered the first team in 2005 and plays its first game in Ligue 1 on 11 September 2005 against the RC Strasbourg .Dramé came through the Paris Saint-Germain F.C. youth ranks, going on to spend two years in the first team, with different outcomes: four matches in 2005–06, 20 in the following, with the capital outfit barely avoiding relegation in the latter.[1] Drame impressed early on in his career for PSG and was part of the side that helped reach the last 16 in the UEFA Cup. After a strong season with PSG Drame was regarding as one of the form left backs in the league along with Eric Abidal, Drame set his sights on a move to The English Premier League.[2]
In July 2007, after refusing the extension of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in August 2007, Dramé signed a four-year deal at fellow first divisioner FC Sochaux-Montbéliard,[3] also appearing scarcely throughout his first campaign. He picked up a serious ankle sprain on his debut against former club PSG.[4]
On September 1, 2008, he joined Spanish second division's Real Sociedad on a season-long loan. He made his debut in a 2–1 win at Gimnàstic de Tarragona,[5] his only appearance of the season. In 2009 he joined Birmingham City on trial,[6] with Drame keen on a switch to the English Premier League,[7] however he didnt earn himself a contract.[8]
During the 2010/11 season Drame played 26 games for FC Sochaux-Montbéliard and scored two goals.[9] He was sidelined with knee surgery from January for a few weeks.[10] With Drame's contract due to expire at the end of the season, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard offered him a new deal they failed to meet Drame's wage demands.[11][12] His contract expired at the end of the 2011 season and he became a free agent. With clubs like Beşiktaş J.K., Trabzonspor, U.S. Lecce and VFB Stuttgart all showing interest in the player since his release.[13] In June 2011 Drame was linked with a move to Newcastle United.[14][15] In July 2011 he was linked with a move to English Championship club Nottingham Forest.[16]
In August 2011, it was reported that Drame had joined Leeds United on trial, on 23rd was transferred from FC Sochaux to Chievo Verona on a free transfer.[17]
