Bothrideridae is a family of beetles, in the suborder Polyphaga.[1][2] Larvae of some species are ectoparasites of the larvae and pupas of wood-boring beetles.[3]
The family is also known as Anommatidae[3]. There are four subfamilies: Bothriderinae, Teredinae, Xylariophilinae, and Anommatinae.
