Boliqueime is a Portuguese parish, located in the municipality of Loulé.[1] It is located at 37°7'60N 8°9'0W and has an altitude of 43 m (144 ft),[2] the population of the parish is 4,473 inhabitants with a total area of 41.46 km².
Aníbal Cavaco Silva, who was elected president of Portugal in 2006, was born in this village in 1939.
Located in central Algarve, 20 km from Faro airport it is a well preserved small village 5 minutes away from the inland typical village of Loulé and the coast villages of Vilamoura and Albufeira
