Blagovica is a village in the Lukovica Municipality in the eastern part of the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.[2]
Village Blagovica lies between rivers Radomlja and Zlatenščica and is the local center of the central-eastern part of the Črni graben Valley with an Elementary School, a Post Office, a Bar, a Petrol station and a Parish Church. In the village also operate many societies such as; Blagovica Voluntary Fire Brigade, Blagovica Mountaineering Club, Cultural society Blagovica, Blagovica rural Youth Organisation and Trojane - Blagovica Society of Rural Women.
It is also the seat of Parish Blagovica and Local Community Blagovica, which was an independent Municipality until 1959 but then became a part of the Municipality of Domžale. From 1995 the Community is a part of the Lukovica Municipality.
The Parish Church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Peter.[3]
