Birsay, Saskatchewan

Birsay, Saskatchewan is a hamlet in the middle of southern Saskatchewan, Canada, just down the highway from a village called Lucky Lake. It is located in the Rural Municipality of Coteau No. 255. It has a population of no more than 50 people. In this small community there is a gas station, restaurant, and a convenience store all in one building. It is called the Birsay Kitchen to the locals.

Prior to January 1, 2004, Birsay was a village, but it was restructured as a hamlet on that date.[1]
