BioRails is a data management system designed to support researchers in drug discovery. It facilitates the capture of structured end-point data that can be queried and data mined in a relational database. In addition, BioRails has a content management system to support the capture of notes and files that can be used to generate electronically signed defensible documents (support for Title_21_CFR_Part_11).
BioRails is open source software with commercial support, and closed source extensions to the BioRails core, provided by The Edge Software Consultancy Ltd.
