William "Bill" Spurling (born 28 October 1907) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Spurling was a key position player who was used mostly as a centre half-forward.[1] He kicked a career high 24 goals in 1931 and polled nine Brownlow votes.[2] In the same year he also represented the Victorian interstate team twice.[3]
In 1936 he joined Kyneton in the Bendigo Football League. He won the league's Best and Fairest award in his first season.
