Bihariganj a town in Bihar, India. It is in Madhepura district.
History:- The ancient name of Bihariganj was "Nishankhpur kodha".In mediaval time this place was ruled by "Sen dynasty" . In 16th century main stream of Koshi river flowed to this place namely called "ha-ha dhar" & there was no any market in Bihariganj.Approx 2 KM Besides this place Gamail Gola was used as a lacal market where jute , rice , wheat , and other commercial things was purchaged and bought byb the local peaple.
There are few chauk (zebra crossing) like Madhukarchak chauk, Jawahar chauk, Shastri chauk, Gandhi Chauk, Subhash Chauk, Panchwati Chauk.
Bihariganj is the central market. It is surrounded with villages namely Madhukarchak, Mohanpur, Laxmipur, Belahi, Babhangama, Vishanpur, Gamail, Mahikhand etc.
Ramnavi Yatra is very famous. There are many temples such as Chandika Temple, Durga Temple, Shiva Temple.
