The selection process for the 1928 Summer Olympics consisted of two bids, and saw Amsterdam be selected ahead of Los Angeles The selection was made at the 29th IOC Session in Barcelona, Spain, in 1921. Los Angeles was selected two years later to host the 1932 Summer Olympics.[1]
