Bhuma Shobha Nagireddy is a female politician from Andhra Pradesh, India. She represents Allagadda assembly constituency in the present assembly. She served as the Chairperson of APSRTC for 2 years becoming the only woman to hold that position. She is the better half of Bhuma Nagireddy who is also a political stalwart of Rayalaseema region. She is the spokes person of Prajarajyam party. She served in Telugudesam party as state committee member and as the incharge of Ananthapur dist wing.

Till 1996 she was only a house wife. But the need of her entry arouse when her husband Bhuma Nagi reddy got elected as member of parliament. Bhuma had to retain MP seat resigning his MLA post from Allagadda assembly constituency. Her political entry was with Telugudesam party. She was elected with a record 27000 majority to assembly in the byelection. Soon after her entry in to the politics she impressed with her mark and style of working. Though, initially she depended on her husband... after becoming MLA she made her presence felt by the public and the officials. Because of her orating skills, party president and the then CM Nara Chandrababu attributed her many party burdens. She soon rose to state level and became one of the most charismatic woman leaders. She is the only woman who served in the caposity of chairperson of APSRTC. She was elected 3 times to assembly. In 2004... She was asked to contest from Nandyal as aparty candidate to Loksabha constituency. But because of the changing scenario of politics, severe draught conditions in Rayalaseema region and the emergence of YS Rajasekhara reddy's charishma among agriculturists... she however could not make it to the parliament. Later in 2008... She along with her husband Bhuma Nagi Reddy joined a new born party of Prajarajyam.[1] Incidentally she is one among the candidates from that party got elected from Rayalaseema region.
Shobha is the younger daughter of S.V.Subba Reddy a senior politician and ex minister of Andhra Pradesh. She is born and brought up in Allagadda and studied up to intermediate. Her elder brother SV Mohan Reddy also a politician MLC Kurnool. But he is in Congress party. He contested from Pattikonda assembly segment on Congress ticket. She is married to Bhuma Nagireddy on 09-04-1986 and is blessed with 3 children.[2][3]
