Bharwana is a clan tribe and sub cast of Sial. Its origin was Chund Bharwana and Qaim Bharwana near Jhang District.
The early historical records of the Bharwanas date from the era of the Mughal emperors and they are considered a sub caste of the Sial.
Bharwanas mostly live in the villages of Chund Bharwana, Qaim Bharwana, Mukhiana, Shabbir Abad Dawakhari, District Toba Tek Singh and some other locations.
