Season three of Beverly Hills, 90210, an American teen drama television series, began airing on July 15, 1992 on FOX television network. The season concluded on May 19, 1993 after 30 episodes.

This season focuses on the gangs senior year at West Beverly High School. The third season aired Wednesday nights at 8/9c in the United States averaging 18.3 million viewers a week. The season was released on DVD as an eight disc boxed set under the title of 'Beverly Hills, 90210: The Third Season on December 11, 2007 by CBS DVD.[1]

Overview

The summer before senior year begins with Brenda and boyfriend Dylan are still deeply in love, much to the chagrin of Brenda's disapproving parents. To force a little distance, they send Brenda to Paris for the summer with Donna, herself the subject of a French modeling subplot — while halfway around the world Dylan and Kelly discover a growing mutual attraction and begin an illicit summer fling. Also the season points more view on the other characters (apart of the twins) and shows a character developement on Kelly Taylor.

Kelly is depressed cause her loneliness and also, because of Dylan and Brenda's relationship.

Meanwhile, a West Beverly alum offers Steve a "legacy key" to the school, which will give him unfettered access to the school's computers.

Meanwhile, Sue Scanlon starts showing interest in David, which irritates Donna and pleases David. Dylan and Kelly go to the dance together.

Meanwhile, Kelly decides to step aside from her friends and concentrate on herself but doesn't expect to see Dylan with a proposition that will change their lives forever.

Meanwhile, Brandon delves even further into gambling, and Dylan's romantic problems seem unimportant when he learns his father is being released from prison.

Dylan and Kelly incur Brenda's rage when they tell her about their summer fling and she cuts them both out of her life.

Meanwhile, Andrea and Jordan go on a date, Dylan and Kelly consummate their relationship, and Brenda and Donna take a self-defense class.

Meanwhile, Steve and Brandon attend a Lakers game, where Steve gets the chance to win $10,000.

Donna must attend a disciplinary hearing regarding her activity at prom night and is denied participation in commencement ceremonies. Her own mother refuses to stand by her, but Brandon and the others go to bat for their friend. At Gil Meyers suggestion, they planned a school wide finals walk-out and a mass demonstration in front of the school board.


NOTE: This is Michael Durrell's first appearance as Dr. John Martin, Donna's father.

Soundtrack

Beverly Hills, 90210: The Soundtrack was released at the beginning of season 3 but the cover art of the cast was from the second season and the costumes are from the episode "U4EA". This was also the first soundtrack to be released out of three soundtracks.
