Belt Up Theatre

Belt Up Theatre are a British theatre company based in the north of England. They were set up in 2008 in the city of York. Run as a collective, the company is led by directors Dominic J Allen, Jethro Compton, James Wilkes and Alexander Wright.

The Boy James

The Boy James by Alexander Wright is the company's first production to tour internationally. It will be performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival after a three week in London in early 2012.

Macbeth

The Middlesex Prison, known as The House of Detention in Clerkenwell is to become the new site for Belt Up Theatre's site specific production of Shakespeare's Macbeth in April 2011.
