Belmont Center Station is a rail station on the MBTA Commuter Rail system in Belmont, Massachusetts.
The station stop is located at the intersection of Common Street and Concord Avenue in Belmont Center. Service to the station is provided by the Fitchburg Line from Boston to Fitchburg, Massachusetts both inbound and outbound.
Passengers board east & westbound trains on the platforms adjacent to the c1907 Boston & Maine station building. The building itself is now owned and occupied by the Belmont Lions Club, and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.[2][3]
Though both connecting buses serve Harvard Square, commuter rail passengers seeking to access Harvard can save time by alighting at the Porter Square station and then taking the Red Line to Harvard.
