Bellsquarry
Bellsquarry is a small area in the south of Livingston next to Murieston, Scotland. Like Livingston Village and Livingston Station it became part of Livingston when the town was built in 1962. Bellsquarry still has a village hall and old buildings, however, there are no shops. The area has several fields surrounding it. There is a children's playpark and a wooded area with trails connecting Bellsquarry to Murieston, and a primary school. The Elm Tree Inn located at the village square, re-opened in early 2005 as a pub (downstairs) and restaurant (upstairs). Bellsquarry is situated just off the Edinburgh to Kilmarnock road (A71). The name Bellsquarry comes from the local limestone quarry and the owner Mr Bell.
