The Behance Network

The Behance Network[1] is an online portfolio platform for creative professionals across multiple industries, including photography, graphic design, illustration, and fashion. Organizations such as the AIGA[2], Adweek[3], ADC, and MTV[4] have partnered with the Behance Network to create galleries of creative work. The company has also been vocal on the topic of crowdsourcing[5].

In July 2010, Behance announced a collaboration with Linkedin to provide portfolio display capabilities on LinkedIn profiles.[6][7]

ProSite

ProSite[8] is a personal portfolio site builder that syncs with the Behance Network.[9] Members of the Behance Network use ProSite to build and customize portfolio websites that live on their own URL. These sites display members’ projects from the Behance Network in a personalized environment. [10] [11]

Served sites

Content from the Behance Network gets fed into a network of sites called the Served sites[12], which display work in specific categories such as Fashion Served[13], Industrial Design Served[14], Motion Graphics Served [15], Photography Served [16], Typography Served [17], as well as partnership with fashion magazine Tokion to create Tokion Served[18]. In September 2010, 5 more Served Sites were launched, including Branding Served [19], Digital Art Served [20], Illustration Served [21], Toy Design Served [22], and Web Design Served. [23]

Action Method

Action Method is a productivity methodology[24] targeting creative professionals[25]. This includes a line of paper products[26], an online application called Action Method Online[27], and a mobile application.[28]

The 99%

The 99% is a content based website[29], consulting service[30], and annual conference[31] in New York City, that focus on best practices for pushing ideas forward. The name 99% comes from the Thomas Edison quote that "Genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration." In 2011, The 99% won a Webby Award for "Best Cultural Blog." [32]

Behance's founder and CEO Scott Belsky is the author of "Making Ideas Happen: Overcoming The Obstacles Between Vision & Reality," [33] which became a Wall Street Journal National Bestseller.[34]

Belsky was also included on Fast Company Magazine's "100 Most Creative People in Business" [35] list in June 2010.
