Bathygobius burtoni is a species of fish in the Gobiidae family. Its genus, Bathygobius, is monotypic.
It is endemic to São Tomé and Príncipe.
The genus is NOT monotypic, and there are over 25 species in the genus throughout the world in tropical and subtropical waters.
