Barmouth & Dyffryn United Football Club is a Welsh football club based in the coastal town of Barmouth, Gwynedd. The club currently ply their trade in the Welsh Alliance League. Although in the past the club often had crowd numbers in the high hundreds, local interest and therefore support has dwindled, often resulting in attendances of below 100. In 2007, against Real Landudno F.C a famous incident occurred, in which the referee stopped the game after he received a sudden injury. After an appeal for a substitute ref' an 82 year old F.A qualified referee, named Anthoney Warren took charge of the remainder of the game!
