Barcelona Zoo (Parc Zoològic de Barcelona in Catalan, Parque Zoológico de Barcelona in Spanish) is a zoo in the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The zoo used to be internationally known as the home of Snowflake, the only known albino gorilla that died on 2003.

Pequeños Primates

In the building that houses pequeños primates (small primates) you can find for example siamang, talapoin, patas monkey, barbary macaque, snub-nosed monkey and De Brazza's monkey.

Terrario

In the terrario (terrarium) you can find for example Cuban crocodile, python sebae, Siamese crocodile, python reticulatus, marginated tortoise, frill-necked lizard, central bearded dragon, uromastyx geyri, leopard gecko, knight anole, saltwater crocodile, rhinoceros iguana, chuckwalla, Chinese alligator, saurosuchus, boa constrictor, epicrates angulifer, boa manditra, malpolon monspessulanus, vipera aspis, Cuvier's dwarf caiman, common toad, hyla meridionalis, yacare caiman, Galápagos tortoise and African spurred tortoise.

Tierra de dragones

In the exhibit called Tierra de dragones (Land of dragons) you can take a look at Komodo dragon and Java Sparrow.

Aquarama

The Aquarama is the place where you can see common bottlenose dolphin.

Aviario

In the exhibit called Aviario (Aviary) you can find birds like Gallicolumba, southern crowned pigeon, Victoria crowned pigeon, black-cheeked lovebird, speckled mousebird, toco toucan, red-billed leiothrix, superb starling, boat-billed heron and sunbittern.

Galeria de titis

In the Galeria de titis (Titis gallery) you can watch for example golden-headed lion tamarin, emperor tamarin and cottontop tamarin.

Plaza de los loros

At the plaza de los loros (Parrots Square) you can see red-and-green macaw and other parrots.
