Barbara Notestein is a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Notestein was born on April 14, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin.[1] She is a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, as well as Beloit College and the University of Michigan.[2] Notestein would become a social worker. She is Jewish. Later, Notestein would become executive director of Safe&Sound, a crime prevention organization.[3]
Notestein was elected to the Assembly in 1984. Later, she became Assistant Majority Leader. She was a Democrat.
