Bangarupalem or Bangarupalyam (Telugu: బంగారుపాళ్యం) is a is a town on national highway 4 (NH4) and a mandal head quarters in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India.[1] It is a well known business center for mango, coconut and tomatoes and is the market-yard for four mandals in Chittoor district. Bangarupalyam is prolific in its production and export of mango pulp to other countries. Mangoes and pulp are exported to all over India, including Jalgoan, Pune, Nasik, Jamshedpur, and Bharampur.It is about 20 kilometers from district headquarters Chittoor.Mogili, a village near the town is famous for Lord Shiva's temple.It was once the capital for Zamindar's family Palegars (also known as Naikers, Nayunivaru and Ekira) ruled for centuries in the pre-independent in India. It's also famous for producing many national and international level Volley ball players for India. So far three players represented India and twenty are national level players.

The distance from Bangarupalem to the world famous Tirumala-Tirupathi, lord Balaji's temple town is around 110 kilometers. Bangarupalem is located on the National Highway (NH4) which connects the major metros Bangalore and Chennai, which are equi-distant from this town (approx. 150 km each).

Bangarupalem is also a center for education to the surrounding villages with six high schools and two junior colleges. It also has three major banks.
