Banaripara (Bengali: বানারিপাড়া) is an Upazila of Barisal District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.

Banaripara is located at . It has 26,697 households and total area 134.32 km².
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Banaripara has a population of 143,825. Males constitute are 50.67% of the population, and females 49.33%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 70,724. Banaripara has an average literacy rate of 46.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
Banaripara has 11 unions/wards, 87 mauzas/mahallas, and 77 villages. Administration Banaripara thana was established in 1913 and was turned into an upazila in 1983. It consists of one municipality, 11 union parishads, 87 mouzas and 77 villages. Archaeological heritage and relics Two Swathidaha Maths, a copper Manasa Bigraga weighing 3.5 maunds, six feet high Bigraha at Narattampur (200 years old).
