Baidwan

The Baidwan are a Jat clan found in the province of Pakistani Punjab and the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana.[1]

The Baidwan are mainly Sikh in Mohali District of Punjab, and Hindu in Ambala District. Historically, Muslim Baidwan were also found in Kharar, all who emigrated to Pakistan at the time of the Partition of India. Most Baidwan speak Punjabi, regardless of their religious affiliation.[2]
