Bafa is a village development committee in Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of north-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3,031 people living in 579 individual households.[1]
Bafa is also the name of a lake with ancient rudiments and the name of a nearby village with a population of around 2700. The region is spattered with rudiments of ancient city.
