Baeckea is a genus of 75 species of shrub in the myrtle family Myrtaceae. They are found in Australia, New Caledonia and Southeast Asia with Australia having the largest distribution.
They are small shrubs closely resembling Leptospermum. The genus is named in honor of the Swedish physician Abraham Bäck (1713 - 1795). [1]
