BAYTL
BAYTL is a collaboration album between American rapper Gucci Mane and White Girl Mob's member V-Nasty. The album was released on December 13, 2011 thru Warner Bros., Asylum and 1017 Brick Squad record labels. It was produced by Zaytoven, who produced 11 of the album's 12 tracks, and Tha Bizness, who have worked with Jay-Z, Young Money, Game, Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, T-Pain, 50 Cent, Wale and Trey Songz.
Singles
The album's first official single was "Whip Appeal", featuring P2theLA and produced by Zaytoven, which was released on November 19, 2011.[2]
On December 16, the two rappers were preparing to shoot a video for the song "Push Ups", featuring Slim Dunkin, at a recording studio in Atlanta. However, once the latter arrived, he got into an altercation with fellow rapper Young Vito, who shot Dunkin dead.[3] Vito was arrested 11 days later for the murder.[4]
Reception
BAYTL received negative reviews according to Metacritic, scoring only 31/100.[5] The album got a 2.5/5 rating from Allmusic, 2/5 from XXL, 1/10 from Spin and 0.5/5 from Consequence of Sound.[6][7][8][9]
