Ayagoz or Ayakoz (Kazakh: Аягөз, formerly Russian: Сергиополь, Sergiopol`) City of regional submission in Kazakhstan, administrative centre Ayagoz districts of the East Kazakhstan area. It's located in eastern Kazakhstan, till both parties of the proceeding river Ayagoz. The population is over 40,000 (2005).
the town was incorporated in 1939 under the power of the Soviet Union. The city is divided (shared) half-and-half by large railway junction TurkSib of a highway, his(its) left party basic, and right named « Behind a Line » lives 27 % of the population. In city 7000 houses, 3000 apartments in multi-storey houses, 10 general educational high schools, school - grammar school, Liceum, 2 hospitals, sport school, stadium, wrestling a hall, the regional house of culture, is present large railway station and airport and also have 9 enterprises of the railway (2 lokomotiv, 2 carload depots, distance of a way, signal system and communication (connection) and war of a part, meteostancion, supermarket.
