Avalon Waterways

With U.S. operations in Littleton, Colorado and worldwide headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland, Avalon Waterways is part of the Globus family of brands. This small ship and river cruise line offers cruises in Europe, China, Egypt and the Galápagos Islands.[1] The company became a member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in August 2009.[2]

Fleet

Since its launch in 2004, Avalon Waterways has christened 11 new ships in Europe.[3] In May 2011, the company introduced the Avalon Panorama, the industry's first "Suite Ship."[4] With a focus on bringing the outdoor experience inside, 65 of the Panorama's staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open to create a balcony-like exterior wall for broader views of Europe's passing landscapes.[5]
