The Auvézère (Occitan dialect: Auvesera) is a small river in the Dordogne department of France. It is a tributary of the Isle River, which is itself a tributary of the Dordogne River.

The river begins at 480 metres (1,570 ft) above sea level in the Massif Central mountains in the Haute-Vienne department and the Limousin region. Its source is south of the commune of Saint-Germain-les-Belles. The river runs through the Corrèze department, in the area Périgord Vert. In the Dordogne department, it flows into the river Isle in Bassillac. Near Cubjac, at the Moulin de Soucis, part of its water is diverged to the Isle.

The Auvézère is an abundant river, with the part of the water course. It observed during the period of 28 years (between 1976 and 2007), the area is situated ahead of Isle River. The surface study extend to 884 km².

Auvézère is a river with seasonal flows. High water levels occur during winter and early spring, with median flows between 12.2 and 16.8 m³/s, between December and April includes (with the maximum level in January).
