Authorpe is a village north west of Alford, Lincolnshire, England lying between the A16 road and the A157 road. It has a chapel,and former brickpits.

Authorpe is first mentioned in Domesday Book, as Agetorp and in 1086 the Lord of the Manor was Ansgot of Burwell.[1]

The former church of Saint Margaret was built of greenstone and dated from the 15th century, being restored in 1848. It was declared redundant by the Diocese of Lincoln in July 1980, and demolished in 1982.[2][3]

Authorpe Hall Farm is a grade II listed building built of red brick, dating from the 16th century with 18th century additions, and 19th century alterations.[4][5]

Authorpe railway station served the village between 1848 and 1964.

Authorpe Hedgehog Care Centre is located in the village.[6]
