August Reuter (27 September 1911 – 9 February 1945) was a highly decorated Oberleutnant der Reserve in the Wehrmacht during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. August Reuter was killed on 9 February 1945 in the Heiligenbeil Pocket.
