Aditya (Kannada: ಆದಿತ್ಯ; born on 4 May 1978), is an Indian film producer and actor, primarily appearing in Kannada films. He made his acting debut in 2004, starring in Love and went on to appear in several commercially successful films. He is the son of a popular Kannada director Rajendra Singh Babu

Aditya was born to the director Rajendra Singh Babu and Anuradha. He did his schooling in Mysore and graduated in St.Joseph's College of Arts and Science in Bangalore. He also walked the ramp as a model in Mumbai during his early 20's.[1]
Aditya's career began at his age of 21 when he began producing many of the films directed by his father. He also won the National award for the best film for Mungarina Minchu. Later he joined the acting course at Kishore Namith Kapoor Acting School and there he trained to act in films. Soon after this he started acting in films.
His debut in acting was with the 2004 released Love which had an ensemble cast including Mohan Lal, Rakshita and Amrish Puri, directed by his father and music composed by Bollywood composer Anu Malik. The much hyped film failed at the box office. It was the 2005 released Deadly Soma that shot Aditya's fame to stardom. He played the lead protagonist in the film and earned critical acclaim.[2]
