Audiences is an indie rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. They have self-released two live albums. Live at The Otterarium was self recorded and produced in their practice space. Live at Lincoln Hall was recorded live at Lincoln Hall Chicago and engineered by Flashpoint Academy graduate sound engineer John McNulty. McNulty also recorded and engineered the band's debut single 'Mountainesque' in Flashpoint's music studio. The four members currently live in Chicago, IL.
The band has been described to have musical elements similar to bands like Polaris, Vampire Weekend, and MGMT.[1]
The Otterarium is home to Audiences practice space and members Billy Jesus and Cardigan, located in Lakeview, Chicago it is also where the band recorded their first live album; 'Live at The Otterarium'.
Audiences is currently recording their first E.P.
