Aspra Spitia (Greek: Άσπρα Σπίτια, meaning "White Houses") else known as Paralia Distomou (Greek: Παραλία Διστόμου, meaning "Distomo Beach") is a town in the municipal unit Distomo-Arachova-Antikyra, in Boeotia, Greece. In 2001 its population was 1,258. Aspra Spitia is a settlement founded in 1960 and planned by Doxiadis Associates for the company Aluminio tis Ellados to house industrial workers and personnel employed at its nearby aluminum plant.
The name of Aspra Spitia was given by reports of foreign archaeologists, writers and illustrated tour of the Austrian Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria in 1870.
Aspra Spitia is situated on the coast of the Corinthian Gulf and located 3 km from Antikyra, 10 km from Distomo, 35 km from Livadeia, 40 km from Delphi and Parnassos Ski Centre and 164 km from Athens.
Aspra Spitia is known for its aluminum and Aluminium production. It contributes its main industry and it is exported throughout the country as well as Southern Europe.
