Ashbrook High School is a public high school in the Gaston County Schools public school district located in Gastonia, North Carolina, United States. The school was the result of the merger of two former senior high schools, Holbrook Senior High and Ashley Senior High. The first class graduated in 1971.

The school's most famous alumnus is retired basketball player James Worthy, player for the 1982 NCAA National Champion University of North Carolina and the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA.[1] Other notable alumni include MLB baseball player Wes Helms [2] and NBA veteran Darrell Armstrong of the New Jersey Nets[3].

Page Carver serves as Ashbrook's principal. Assistant principals are George Conner (Leadership and Arts Academy), Kelli Howe (Business and Sports Marketing), and Tanya Hudson (Math, Science, and Engineering).
